Well just got back from trainer time with Rambo. He has me get there early so I can do cardio i.e. treadmill or bike for about 20 minutes before we start our session. Tonight we did the balance ball. I was much steadier I think. We did side kicks and front kicks. These nearly killed me. I was holding onto to him and a machine for support! But I did them. They are harder than I thought and they pull muscles I didn't know I had.
Then we had to get on the mat ON THE FLOOR!!! We did bike simulations. You raise the right knee to meet the left elbow or in my case you get them to wave at each other. LOL It was a real chore to get down on the mat. Getting back up off the mat required Rambo pulling me up.
We did the leg press machine, and the two more weight lifting machines. Then we stretched everything out. Then Rambo says to hold onto a machine and he takes my foot and BENDS MY LEG AND TAKES IT BEHIND ME. SO I AM STANDING LIKE A CRANE WITH MY LEG HIKED UP OVER MY BUTT AND RAMBO DOESN'T LET GO UNTIL IT HAS BEEN AT LEAST A MINUTE. Then he does my other leg.
I go back on Wednesday night for another session. He said we are going to do weights and then we are going for a power walk around downtown Little Rock. I told him that sounded pretty cool. We agreed I am going to do 1 session a week from now on.
