Ok, so yesterday I didn't post. I had a job interview, then I worked over, then then then. THAT'S NOT THE REAL REASON I DIDN'T BLOG. The real reason is I weighed two days ago and I haven't lost one stinking ounce.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NOT ONE OUNCE. Now what do you have to say about that?????

Today I walked the 1/2 mile round trip to work. AND I went to the little gym and did the bike for 19 minutes and TADA 4.50 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I did the fat burner cycle this time. I also drank water every other breath all day long. I wish they let us have a locker for the week. I do not like lugging all my clothes, shoes, and crap down to the ghetto parking lot after the workout. UGH! Today is day 9 of the workout?? Do you know this is the longest I have ever done anything athletic???I am pretty jazzed about that.

Now before long we have to start talking about food. Not today though. Well let's talk about it a little bit. I need some lunch ideas and snack ideas.

Also I have another goal-I want to walk (dare I say jog, run) in the Jingle Bell Run this December in Little Rock.I am already planning my outfit right down to the bells on my shoe laces!

Don't expect the weight to start coming off immediately. If you are staying on target with your workout and eating decent, it will happen. Every person is different. Some people may lose weight in the first 3 days...some, maybe not until 3 weeks. As long as you consistently attend the gym, you will see results!

Lunches are easy. Depends on what you like, but I buy the pre-mixed lettuce with an array of diet-friendly toppings and low-calorie vinagarettes. Don't overdo it with salads though. You can get sick of them fast! Turkey and grilled chicken sandwiches are great for lunch if you go out. Any low-fat, high protein meat is good. Eat your sandwich with low-fat chips, or sun chips if you don't like the baked chips. Raw vegetables are great as a snack if you are into that...and any type of fruit, low-fat granola, or yogurt.

Don't shy away from anything that says low-fat or low calorie. Diet foods are not as awful as people make them out to be. Except mayonnaise, you can't low-fat that! I hope this helps. I wish I had someone to give me useful info when I first started going to the gym. You just have to jump in head first and find out what routine works best for you.

Good luck with the job and keep it up Gym Virgin!!
